Career and Technical Education prepares youths and adults for a wide range of careers. Fremont Adult and Continuing Education is now offering a Certification Program that will provide over 60 hours of training using Microsoft Office 2007. Students enrolled in this program will receive training designed to teach the skills necessary for employment in the field or industry which they are pursuing. This program is designed for those who wish to develop word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation skills needed in the workplace.
Track 1: Basic & Word 2007
This phase is designed for those who wish to develop word processing skills needed in the workplace. The class covers the basic skills required to use MS Word through the advanced features needed to enhance productivity, develop more vibrant documents and improve skills. Certificate upon completion.
No class April 25-28, May 30.
Track 2: Excel 2007
This phase is designed for those who wish to develop spreadsheet skills needed in the workplace. This class covers the basic skills required to use MS Excel through the more complex features including writing functions and performing data analysis. Certificate upon completion.

MS Publisher/PowerPoint 2007
This phase is broken up into two parts. Part 1 is designed for those who wish to develop presentation skills needed in the workplace. The course covers how to create a presentation.
Part two is designed for those who wish to develop publication skills needed in the workplace. The course covers how to create a publication from scratch or use one of the hundreds of business and personal designs available in Publisher. Certifcate upon completion.
